You can enter Denmark, if you meet the following requirements:
You were fully vaccinated against Covid-19. You must bring proof of vaccination for the vaccine used, see requirements here. Fully vaccinated people do not need a valid reason to enter and do not need to be tested on arrival in Denmark. Fully vaccinated persons do not have to go into quarantine after arriving in Denmark.
Travelling from a yellow country or region. If you are traveling from a yellow country or region, you must present documentation of a negative Covid-19 test (either rapid test or PCR test) upon entry. The same applies if you are traveling through Denmark on your way to another country (transit). The test must be completed less than 48 hours prior to participation. You must also test yourself within 24 hours of arriving in Denmark (does not apply to transit). Travelers from yellow countries and regions are exempt from the requirement of a valid reason and from the obligation to quarantine when entering Denmark. Read more here.
Travelling from an orange country or region. Same rule as travelling from a yellow country or region, but you have to be quarantined for 10 days after entry. See more below under rules for travelling from red countries and regions.
Travelling from a red country or region. If you are traveling from red countries or regions you must have a valid reason for traveling. You must present documentation of a negative Covid-19 test (either rapid test or PCR test) upon entry. The same applies if you have to travel through Denmark to get to another country (transit). The test must be completed less than 48 hours prior to participation. Everyone must be quarantined for 10 days after entry. The quarantine can be interrupted if there is a negative result of a PCR test no earlier than the fourth day after the start. Read more here.
Unfortunately, no tests are carried out at the terminal before departure in Larvik og Kristiansand.
If you are a Danish citizen or have a residence in the Danish population register, you can travel to Denmark at any time without showing a negative test when entering Denmark.

In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines from Norwegian authorities, Color Line temporarily suspends normal passenger traffic from Denmark to Norway. Only passengers possessing a role that is society critical is allowed on board. Freight transport remains unchanged.

The guidelines below apply from the date normal passenger traffic resumes.
Entry to Norway is only allowed for Norwegian citizens and persons who are registered in the Norwegian population register as resident in Norway. If you are not a Norwegian citizen or if you can provide a certificate of residence from the Norwegian State Register, you will not be able to travel with us. There are exceptions for people who posesses a role that is considered society critcal.
In addition, the Norwegian authorities have introduced the following requirements for entry into Norway. As a traveler, you MUST:
Fill out the registration form BEFORE departure: Fill out the form here. Remember to do this before you travel. This also applies to Norwegian citizens.
Submit a negative Covid-19 test: Does not apply to Norwegian citizens, people registered in the Norwegian National Register with a residential address in Norway, or people in transit. The test must be completed less than 24 hours prior to participation. People who fail to produce a negative test will be refused to travel with Color Line.
Get tested when you arrive in Norway: The Norwegian authorities have ordered a compulsory Covid-19 test when entering Norway. This applies to everyone arriving in Norway, ALSO for children under the age of 12, professional drivers on duty and a few others. The test is free and is carried out by the Norwegian health authorities at the terminal. Please order the test at least 3 hours before your arrival at the respective terminal.
Quarantine: All passengers must be quarantined when entering Norway from Denmark.

Compulsory mouth and nose protection
To make your crossing even safer, Color Line has made it compulsory to wear mouth and nose protection on board all ships that operate between Denmark and Norway. All passengers over the age of 12 must therefore wear mouth and nose protection during the entire crossing, except when consuming food and drinks and when boarding and disembarking their own vehicle. Please remember to bring your mouth and nose protection with you. You can also buy this at the reception on board and at check-in.
