Skeikampen is one of the ski vacation destinations in Norway with the longest winter season for cross-country skiing and alpine skiing. On average, the season runs from October to May. The area is known as family-friendly and offers numerous activities for both beginners and experienced skiers. With the perfect combination of nature experiences, skiing, and quality time with friends and family, Skeikampen is a fantastic place for a ski holiday.
With its beautiful location on a high mountain, the Skeikampen Alpincenter is considered a snow-safe and cozy place for the whole family. Here, there are many wonderful experiences in the beautiful Norwegian nature – both for cross-country skiing and for alpine tours on the slopes. In the large fun park, you can also really go for it on a snowboard, either on the blue route for beginners or on the red one with jumps and rails for advanced skiers. During the season, there is also night skiing with illuminated slopes. Additionally, there is a ski school offering lessons in all ski disciplines and rentals of various types of skis and fatbikes, as well as a dedicated ski workshop.
If you need some peace and something to strengthen you, there is a kiosk, cozy cafés, barbecue huts, lavvus (a Nordic variant of Indian tipis), a warming room, après-ski, and a lounge bar. There is even a spa waiting for you if you want to pamper yourself a little more. You can do your shopping in a sports store, a home goods store, and a supermarket.
