Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions if your sailing
time has been changed, cancelled or disrupted.
All changes or cancellations to your trip must be made via the contact form you received by SMS.
We process inquiries continuously based on the information you provided in the form. You will receive a new travel document by email with the updated departure. Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to phone inquiries.
Transport trip (boat trip only)
If your departure is cancelled or delayed due to weather conditions, you will be refunded the amount for the affected sailing. This applies to both Economy and Flex tickets. If you choose to cancel a round trip, you will be refunded the full amount for the entire journey.
Boat trip including accommodation (package trip)
If Color Line cannot offer you a place on a new sailing the same day, you will be refunded the amount for the first night’s accommodation. If you wish to cancel the entire package trip, you will be refunded the price you paid for the boat ticket. The price you have paid for your accommodation on land will not be refunded.

Yes, you can change your departure date free of charge.
Boat trip including accommodation on land
Yes, you can change your departure date and possible return date free of charge.
If you change the date of your accommodation on land, a fee will apply according to the current cancellation rules for package trips.
You are not entitled to hotel accommodation or compensation if the change or cancellation of sailing is due to weather.

The amount you are entitled to will be refunded to the card you paid for the trip with within 3–5 business days.
Contact the travel agency where you booked your trip to receive your refund.
